This Hawaii elopement took place on a warm spring day in the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, Waimea Canyon on the beautiful island of Kauai and it was amazing. The bold red sand, small (but mighty) waterfall, and amazing views made this elopement one-of-a-kind. Styled by Wildly in Love with the help of Bixby and Pine. Everything from the flowers, to the suit, to the beautiful stationary, screamed HAWAII elopement, but with a twist. These two opted for the side of Hawaii that many don’t think of. Instead of palm trees, sandy beaches, or tropical forests, they wanted the expansive canyon views and the backdrop to make others ask, “where the heck are you? Mars?”. We hiked around and covered the dress in red dust, which I, personally, love. A dirty dress reminds my couples of the adventure they chose to have for their day, rather than the traditional mumbo jumbo.
While many travel to Kauai to elope, these two are locals who wanted to celebrate their little island in the most perfect way: getting married and taking epic photos there. What do you think? Did they nail it?
