Adventurous Mount Rainier Elopement

Halle & Kayden flew all the way from Wisconsin with their beautiful family to have an authentic and intimate elopement in the iconic Mount Rainier National Park. We started the day out in their AirBnB getting cozy and mentally prepping for the big day. They got snuggled up in their Schitt’s Creek inspired hoodies and had some snacks with the family before the big day. We did some detail shots of their unique wedding rings and their matching family Dr. Martin’s. Then we headed up the mountain! 

Their elopement was in the dead heat of summer but that didn’t stop us from having a good time! Halle & her future sister in law got ready next to a field of wildflowers and admired her one-of-a-kind dress while Kayden was getting all dolled up with his father and their beautiful baby boy. 

Their first look was on a bridge within the Tipsoo Lake trail. With the mountains towering behind and the wildflowers surrounding them it was a tear-jerker moment for everyone. Kayden admired his bride with so much love in his eyes. The day he’d been waiting for had finally come! After taking in the excitement of their first look we found a spot to nestle in by the flowers and read letters from their family members who weren’t able to be present for their special day. There were laughs, tears, and everything in between. It was such a sweet way to include their loved ones while still having their intimate ceremony. 

Their ceremony was along the water line of Tipsoo Lake with Kayden’s sister, Mandy, officiating. We watched with love in our hearts these two committing themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. The beautiful backdrop within the National Park was a plus too! After vows were said and the first kiss sealing their commitment was over, we headed to the overlook to picnic with a view of the beautiful giant that is Mount Rainier. 

Their picnic consisted of snuggles, beers, and statement making Rice Krispie Treats. Their first dance was iconic and a perfect way to end their Mount Rainier elopement. The sun had set and we were all exhausted. Another beautiful adventurous elopement in the books with another perfect couple. Thank you Halle & Kayden for having me capture your special day!
