This elopement on Rialto Beach was EVERYTHING. Becky and Jordan drove up with their two lovable dogs to have a private and intimate elopement at Rialto Beach, Washington. They originally had planned for Ruby Beach but quickly changed their minds to allow their pups to be a part of the fun!
To start out the adventure, we broke out my handy dandy Sportneer pop-up changing tent right in the parking lot, no shame here! First Jordan got ready, his tweed suit fit the vibe so well. My fav second shooter, Grace, from Acute Lens Photography, escorted Jordan to the trees so Becky could get in her dress and prep for their first look.
For being the middle of February it was warm and the sun was shining bright. The good thing about Rialto Beach is that you can go from the trees to the open beach in a matter of a few steps, and that’s exactly what we did! First look was within the trees, Jordan’s reaction to Becky brought a tear to everyone’s eye. He was speechless and we could all see why, Becky looked like a princess.
They opted for a vow reading on the beach followed by some The Corpse Bride inspired vows. They lit their candles, drank their wine, and toasted to forever all next to an iconic Washington view.
“With this hand I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.”
We finished the day off with an extravagant, home-made, picnic on Rialto Beach. These two designed, packed, and carried all of their picnic materials. We toasted to forever and then Jordan and Becky had their first dance at last light. It was so beautiful that after they finished, a gentleman came up and handed me a beautiful sketch of his perspective of their first dance. Scroll to the bottom to see it!
Congrats Becky & Jordan! Thank you for letting me be a part of such a special day.
